Building & Equipment Maintenance Tech

POSITION OBJECTIVE     Assist in maintenance and repair of PCLI’s buildings and equipment.

STATUS                            Full-time

ORGANIZATION                Reports to Building & Equipment Director

RESPONSIBILITIES          Duties may include but not be limited to:

  1. Maintain equipment storage and inventory tracking system.
  2. Assist in equipment and building repairs.
  3. Help maintain equipment repair database containing problems and solutions.
  4. Clean and maintain repair workstations and reorder supplies as needed.
  5. Perform light construction projects.
  6. Other duties as required by Building and Equipment Director.

SCHEDULE

  • Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • *Schedule may vary, **Full Time = 40 hours

SKILLS REQUIRED    

  • Basic knowledge of construction, electrical, & electronics
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to learn independently from manuals and experimentation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Pleasant, cooperative attitude 
  • Acceptable WA driver record (applicant expense) upon job offer

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

  • Ability to lift 100 pounds
  • Good visual acuity
  • Climb stairs
  • Reach and stoop to level of storage shelves
  • Ability to ride in small aircraft
